Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.
I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.
Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.
A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially
to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...
A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...

my 2/17/06 post.

How could you have doubted a guy like Juan Valdez and his trusty donkey
Yup - healthy right up along there with chocolate and red wine.
YEA! I love my coffee ! BTW, it looks like you had a waxing and a peddy from the looks of your avatar. I was a little concerned that you were letting yourself go when I saw your picture at DubyaT's place. And yes, it does take longer to type DubyaT than WT, but I just think he needs something more than WT for a name. Too simple for someone like him.
Off for another cup o joe.
WOOHOO! I'm going to make a second cup now! Why is the song "Celebration" in my head right now?
And, Swampwitch...if WT is DubyaT, then maybe you could be SDubya! LOL!!
For some reason, I couldn't read the article online. But I have heard in the past that coffee is good for circulation or something like that.
Hallelujah.
I'm a healthfood nut too--or used to be. I don't seem to be reading all the magazines and books lately. But we do try to eat "well." I think I read this somewhere along the line. This very good news for those of us up here in the "coffee capital" of the country. I'd probably drink less in the morning if I didn't stay up so late blogging!
but, is brewing a necessary step?
Pamela, r i g h t...! A jackass did speak in the Bible, so, go figure.
Karmyn, this is why we are friends in real life, except we aren't really.
Swampy...man oh man do I need a good was & pedicure. Again, I seem to be on the trail of wretched excess with my comments lately...I'll explain one day :/. Anyone who says "cup of joe" is my new best friend for the day or year or something.
Susan, I'm still waiting for our CM date, your treat.
Heather, the article will be available tomorrow...and it's all good :D.
Emom, ARE YOU GOING TO EMAIL ME? Do french fries count as health food? I've started eating blueberries and I KNOW they're one of the happiest of things for the ol' bod...
LCO, I ate a chocolate covered coffee bean once and almost choked. Talk about STRONG! I think I was wired for three days. Thanks for the memory :).
I knew that about coffee. I really did. What's not good is sugar/sugar substitutes. Except stevia - that's good for us, too.
Y'gotta love that java!
