Take this quick test
Okay, PLEASE take this quick test :).

Click here and comment your results. I'm only interested in the top "quiz", don't worry about the bottom one. If you're a blogger, even if you've never commented before, I'd love to hear your results. You know what? Even if you AREN'T a blogger, just one of my lurkers or a "freak" passer-by, take the quiz and tell me your answer. That will be equally helpful.

It's fast guys, just one question, but give me your TOP TWO answers. What are you waiting for?

OOPS, CRAP!! I forgot to ask, if you're married, include your spouse's #1 & #2 answers, too. That's part of it. Sorry for the oversight!!

I'll explain later.

Thanks!

Acts of Service, for sure. Take out the trash, change the baby's diaper and I KNOW you love me!

Second runner up-
Quality Time. Please spend an hour or two with me over coffee and deep conversation.

Love Language: Words of Affirmation
Apology: Accepting Responsibility

Oooh Fun! I can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

(I've read "The Five Love Languages" and I'm currenty reading "The Five Love Languages of Children" - it has made me a better parent.)

Did you want the top two responses on love languages or our top responses in both categories? I just read the other comments so I wanted to double check.

(I'm that kid in school who sat in the front row, dead center...FYI)

For apologies - Accepting Responsibilities.

I noticed that "Blogger working correctly" was not a choice.

What is this little quiz all about??? I'm waiting for the big post about it.

Please excuse the multiple posts. I just went back and read your "instructions." So, let me try this again:
1. Words of Affirmation
2. Acts of Service

This seems like a shameless attempt at increasing traffic.

For both MDW and myself the answers are:
N/A and N/A. or in other words, none of the above. Seriously, Robin, there wasn't one answer that I would check. Too 'Oprah' for my tastes.

Ummmm, Willowtree, funny, increasing traffic never even crossed my mind (not with this post, anyway)(if I wanted to do that, I'd talk more about oot-fa etishes-fa, that scarily did it last time). I'm close to insulted.

Words

with Touch up there close to Time.
By the way, the Time thing is really hard when most of your friends live across the States.

You are going to be BUSY! Here are my DH's answers:
1. Physical Contact
2. Quality Time

(I'm wondering how we ever got together.....opposites attract?)

I'm with Willowtree...I looked at those choices and felt a little sheepish and smirky. And then I saw the 30 second thing and panicked. TOO MUCH PRESSURE.

Plus, since I have no spouse, I would have had to make up something and that would be cheating and since I am like the Hermione Granger of Omaha and never cheat...

Well, you get the picture.

Sorry, Robin - I can't get my husband's answers.

I'm alone again for the week. He is off on business in Oklahoma (working at a p&p mill trial to help a co-worker)

but - I Highly suspect his first choice would be the TOUCH one and then the ALONE time. (that just seems like him to me)

I didn't have to take the test. I taught the course over two sessions last year.

I'm Quality Time and Physical Touch and Phil's Physical Touch and Quality Time.

Okay-this is the second time I've tried to finish this (isn't it sad when it takes two or three tries to complete a 30-sec quiz?)

Me - Words/Gifts
John - Quality time/Acts of Service

Me - Requesting Forgiveness/Genuine Repentance

John - Accepting Responsibility

BTW - one of the girls in my summer Bible study should be winging her way to YW any time now!!! Yeah - she's getting married soon, I'm SOOOO glad she'll get to hear this stuff BEFORE she begins her new home!

Thanks for visiting by deer hiney doorbell!

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
