Waaaaayyyyy too cool!
Today Gina, the-place-we-got-our-bathroom-fixtures-from-girl, said to me as I was out the door, goods in hand, "Hey, you know you look like Alanis Morissette, right, I bet you get that all the time...". To which I replied, "Actually, that's a new one, but I do wish I had some pipes on me like hers." I've been told I look like Leah Remini (minus the heavy make-up...and body-before-baby), Chelsea Noble (I was in love with Kirk Cameron during the "Growing Pains" years), and yikes! even Kathie Lee. I'm not saying I agree with any of the above, but it's always interesting to know how people see you.

Matt commented to my blog recently, so I paid him a little visit. Among other things, I thought this was v e r y nifty. I figured at least one of the above girlie-Qs would be included in this face recognition thingy, but it came up with a whole new batch. Go figure.

I think I just look like myself.

I loved Kirk, too!!! I had his face plastered inside the door of my seventh grade locker. I'm going to have to try this celeb look alike thing - looks like it could be interesting!

One more thing - you do look like Chelsea Noble. You know, there was just something so likeable about her that I never could hate her for taking Kirk away.

So...you're trying to tell us you're totally hot?

:D

The only celeb I've ever been compared to is Molly Ringwald in the Brat Pack days. I'm just glad it wasn't Strawberry Shortcake.

Wait..a..minute... How do I know you used you own photo?

For all I know you could have used used a photo of Chelsea Noble from her IMDB bio. I've seen this many times but this is the first time I've ever seen the blogger's photo taken out.

I don't know why you did it, pehaps you embarrassed that your photo returned Delta Burke, Tammy Baker, Cher in Mermaids and a young Jacqueline Bouvier.

Hmmmm, Kelly, that could be bad if they were thinkin' "Carrie".... I'm thinking Kathleen Turner (s c o r c h i n').

WT, lest you forget, the bloggergods HATE me. I have no idea why my pic was dropped when I copied it here, it was "there" when I previewed the collage. And funny, IMDB is the first place I went for pics when I was linking to names--there isn't one for Chelsea there.

Actually, I put in the picture w/my sunglasses and "this" is what they came up with. Not really, but hmmmmmmmm, that would be cool. I did think about Delta;). And you saved yourself with YOUNG JB.

Ha! yes, that's probably it;)

Scorchin'. That's how I would describe myself. I should probably change my blog header to something that more accuratly depicts me.

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
