Any guesses?
Overheard, during the drive home after school today:

"Mom, guess what I did? I stuck my hand up a chicken's butt! No one else would do it [hmmm, me thinks wise classmates]. It felt GROSS inside! I cracked a wing, too."

1) Who said it?
2) What subject was it in?
3) And WHAT in the heck are they doing???

Hint: This is just one step of a 45-day process.

And, yes, the chicken was DEAD (it came from the GROCERY STORE, not some kind of poultry morgue or something!).

The first person to get all three answers wins a prize. I promise, it won't be that chicken.

My guess would be Thomas. There may be a future for him in TV, don't forget that Courtney Cox got a lot of money for sticking her head up a turkey's butt.

Oh wait! I want to change my answer, I didn't realise it was a three parter (I want my money back for that darn speed reading course!)

1) Rachel.
2) Home Ec.
3) Stuffing it.

Well, so sorry, but I don't know your children's names (how bad is that).

My answers:
1) Your oldest son
2) Biology
3) How fast does a chicken turn into compost?

Sorry - can't come up with anything better.
I'll check back with ya!

Drat!! Willowtree got to my answer first. And he says we have nothing in common...except playing piano.....

Hell songbird, you can have ownership of the answer, I have no need for material possessions. (plus I don't think it's right)

eph2810 - you didn't need to read the post, just the first comment, and I think you may have the right answer (the whole 45 day process is a pretty good clue).

Okay, I'm going with willowtree's second answer.

Except I think it was a puppet show and they're performing it for you in 45 days.

Actually, I give up.

1. Thomas, 2. Science lab/biology, 3. Dissect it. Oh, ya. (My class dissected a frog!)

I'm going to guess that they are getting ready for a school play, and the comment was about a costume.

I just recently "met" you, so I don't know your children too well yet, but I'll guess Thomas is the one quoted :)

By the way, I was kidding about the puppet show - forgot my ;)

I think those raw chicken puppets would smell mighty ripe in 45 days;)

The youngest son (with the most integrity) - probably for math class counting ribs. His teacher always wanted to be a science geek. (I can say that because I was one).

P.S. I was too late...everyone else had the correct answers, so can I just stand in the corner with a dunce hat on today?

Off topic... but wasn't it Joey that got his head stuck in a turkey? Maybe Monica did too.. I must have missed that episode.

They BOTH did, MJ. When I was looking for pix, I was reminded they both did (separate episodes).

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
