Student for the day.....
Read this and stick with it til the end. Did you know it already? I didn't, and as I'm able, I want to corroborate its accuracy.

I sat there and read it and thought..........God was right to call us sheep.

This is one of those times I wish I was smarter....and could remember more of what I read...and paid better attention in ALL my history classes...and had the discipline to go back to school JUST for the sake of learning...could process more clearly...and had the eyes to see the bigger picture...the ears to hear truth more loudly than those who speak within my comfort zone...wisdom and discernment, and I guess the heart and mind, to consider who God IS, not just the "God" we've created, then confined, for the past hundred or so years.

Mostly, this is one of those times I wish y'all would weigh in.

I read the WHOLE thing. It was interesting, though, so I'm not complaining. I can't confirm the facts. The hubby has a Geneva based Bible.

I had to come back to this... because the dates in it haunted me .. they are so close to the ones on my post for Ben'jammin about some family history. It makes me wonder if my early ancestors fled persecution with their "Geneva" Bibles...

What is you have want people to weigh in on?
most of it sounds familiar, some of it is stuff i've taught.
is it just proof, or was there something you question? (my brain is fried today)
Sometimes, there are no outside supporting docs for the older stuff, because manuscripts were burnt with the persecuted.
Your pastor should have some church history that would help

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
