Cartoon hearts are floating
[1] I heart my true blue devoted caring and attentive ROCKIN' "regular" readers. I will not name names to protect the innocent. Wait a second, they're not so innocent, so yes, I think I WILL name names. Hugs & cybersmooches in the most platonic of ways to e-mom, Peter, Pamela, and Claudia--they all noticed I was AWOL and in their own special way, showed their concern for me. More of the same to Susan, Malissa and LCO for their concern about my spinnin' head. The rest of you can kiss my disfigured toe I am SURE were also worried, but kept your thoughts to yourselves so as not to pry.

To explain my absence from the blogosphere, both "here" (where PENSIEVE lives) and "there" (where [insert your blogname here] lives), I direct you to #2 below.

[2] Tomorrow is my 19th wedding anniversary. Friday morning, after dropping off our kids as early as we could get them to school, Tad and I fled the country got away for an amazing ... wonderful ... romantic ... sursey-filled weekend. For whatever reason (what's "special" about 19? 20 is looming, and 19 kind of gets lost...not really, but you know...), the weekend exceeded my expectations. Even with a few VERY MINOR glitches**, it was perfect. Ooooo! Hattip to Karmyn, didn't you tell me about Oregon Erath wine? We had a
n i c e pinot noir :).

Okay, photos aren't posting (not that there were that many), and my kids are hovering, so I'm hopping off for now. I mainly wanted y'all to know I'm NOT DEAD..........yet ;).

** Our cottage had a ladybug infestation. OF COURSE, I took pictures (insane, I admit, but it was to show y'all, big sigh), the vertigo assaulted me in return (when I laid on my back to photograph the ceiling), Blogger's not uploading, so I'll fool with it tomorrow. It could've been very scary bugs, at least ladybugs are well dressed happy bugs:).
** WICKED windstorm Saturday night, I thought we might end up in Kansas. No, wait, anywhere BUT Kansas.
** The music crashed so our first and LAST first ever couple's massage was completed in relative silence. I had fun thinking about what Tad must've been thinkin'. So much for ambiance.
** the only picture taken of us features me with my stupid eyes closed :(.

See? barely worth mentioning, huh?

I guess I didn't know you were AWOL because I'm a new reader and not yet accustomed to how often you update. I hope you had a lovely time despite the lady bugs, which are not fun en masse. We have to vacuum them up here in the fall when they come in for sanctuary.

No way!! That is awesome!! Happy Anniversary!! I think it's fab that you celebrated the 19th in a special way.
Big hugs to you and I hope you get that ear checked out sooon.

It's funny you mentioned the couple's massage...just yesterday, the radio had an interview with Ice-T and his wife Koko (sp?) and they were talking about having a couple's massage..he said he kept thinking about what the masseuse was doing to his wife and did not relax one bit!! hehehe

Well - that is the BEST reason to be gone from the blogosphere!!!!!

Besides the ladybug infestation (which would be WAY better than ants or worse, earwigs) - it sounded DEVINE!!!!!

And I hope you guys enjoy your 19th year together!!!!

Shhh, I'm up late working on my anniversary post, so don't tell Tad. Be vewry, vewry quiet.

Sally, I LOVE that you're now an official repeat customer :). The more undiscombobulated I become, the more you'll see of me. I get itchy when I haven't been bloggin' in a while, and there's only one thing that can scratch my spot......ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Claudia, Ha! Me and Tad and Ice-T and Koko, a foursome (too, too funny). I think Tad was just thinking about the Seinfeld episode where George had a massage..."it" moved. (Tad's didn't). He wasn't worried, my masseuse was named Melanie or something.

I'm TRYING to find a freakin' doc >:(, easier said than done (well, getting an appt, anyway). We've been here 3 years, and other than my annual girlie exam, I've only gone to "walk in" places when I've needed drugs (steroid shot for poison ivy...antibiotic for bronchitis, etc.). Soooooo, trying to see a freakin' internist is proving more difficult than I'd like. It's starting to unnerve me when it hits, though, so I'm lookin, I'm lookin.

Karmyn, you just KNOW I wanna say more than I have;). Gotta keep it PG rated, though :/. I even had my laptop w/me and the most action it saw was coming out of its little black bag to be charged...I still haven't cut it on. btw, you're making great progress (when do I get a copy to proofread?).

Is undiscombobulated actually a word?

I think there I something wrong with Bloglines, this post didn't show up at all, I was actually only visiting so that I would appear in the statcounter and was somewhat surprised to see this post.

A few of my posts haven't shown up either.

Yeah - I love get aways with the hubs - I keep telling him we need to do that really really soon.

As far as lady bug infestation is concerned - yeah been there done that - had literally thousands (not an exaggeration either) in our home in NC. I used to like lady bugs - now I dispise them.

Congratulations on you anniv. and lovely weekend.

Have you updated to beta?
I'm having more success now with my pictures. Except, some pictures in my archives have dropped out.

I keep thinking Blogger is going to pull thru this problem. But, non bloggers are having problems posting comments.

I guess I'm going to have to get your telephone number and hound you until you get in for a check up. I have an acquaintance that started that way and ended up deaf in one ear. Now I'm not trying to scare you, but if it was one of YOUR KIDS you'd be camped at the emergency room until you had an answer.

Consider yourself scolded then hugged.

Didn't realize you were AWOL because I've not been visiting lately. Glad everything is OK...I need to read to see the status of your vertigo...When I can think of something to Pimp Your Blog with, I will...Maybe that there are more baby pictures at my place. Go Figure.Thank you for your sweet comments about the new baby girl and her family.

I came by earlier and saw this but was rushing out. You are too sweet to send me a cybersmooch. Here's one back. *** (Whew, glad I don't have to kiss your disfigured toe!) Anyhoo, your getaway sounds lovely, and 19 is a great year to do something special. I got a new wedding ring on my 23rd (not 20th or 25th) for no good reason, except we had some extra $$$ that year! Wonderful to have a peek into someone else's hot romance! Congrats again!

Happy Anniversary! I missed you too, and kept checking for new posts, but figured you were just busy (I wasn't worried yet!)

Glad all is well - ladybugs and all;)

Oops - I am sorry - I am sometimes very insensitive...

I am glad that you had a wonderful weekend away from all and just time with your hubby...It is always good to have time together - without interruptions.

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
