Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.
I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.
Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.
A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially

I was at my aunt's house the other day and noticed a nice little sign that said, "I cleaned my house yesterday. Wish you could have seen it." I must have that! So true.
I just recently bought myself a grocery-list pad....a old-fashion picture of a maid relaxing on the couch with the words 'My idea of Housework is to sweep the room with a glance.' I love sayings!
I so enjoyed the last one - lol!
The second one is so me. I can't function without my big gulp sized coffee in the morning.
I'm reminded of the turn of the century English matron who called her wee Irish maid into the parlor
"Look," she huffed, and then wrote her name in the dust on the mantle. "What do you have to say about that missy?!"
The sweet lil Irish girl smiled and answered:
"Ain't edjucashun a gran' thing!"

Excellent!!!! I think i like the first one best of all. It could be my daughter's motto. Heck, if I get tired of my motto on my blog, I might adopt that one.
