Due to technical difficulties...
...I have suspended WV for the time being. Commenting is difficult enough these days. I'm taking a queue from Susan and I guess if spammers or freaky people start posting, it'll be re-enabled. Blogger is TICKING me off because it keeps saying my Beta is "ready" for me, but when I tried to switch, it won't let me, I'm guessing because of my fabulouso design :/.

I've gotta do something...soon. It's not fun when blogging becomes a hassle.

And, thanks to Pam for emailing to tell me she TRIED to comment, and to Pamela who put into practice, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try....again."

Miss y'all. Mean it. ;)

So far, I've not had problems commenting except that I would have to fill in WV 3 times before BoogerGlobber would accept the comment. I KNOW I was filling in the correct l.e.t.t.e.r.s.
Anywhoo, glad it's turned off because that's just one less step in commenting. I always have to "switch identity" (which I never know which one to choose), then type in swampwitch, then the URL...when I comment at a Blogger Blog.

Same as swampy...except that it only happens on my own site!! I'll enter the letters..check and it won't take 'em. I'm starting to get a teeensy bit aggravated when I think a comment has taken, and go back later and it's gone. GRRRRR. I may end up taking the WV away too and take my chances with the horses out there.

What will we do? This is really getting annoying, isn't it! However, I love, love, love not having to type out those annoying WVs!

I don't know how I feel about Beta. It's really hard to customize your template with it. That's why I haven't changed anything - it's certainly not for lack of trying!!! (GRRRRRR)

I hope Typepad lets us back "in" soon. I'm feeling a little left out (*sniff*).

At least you get to comment in Typepad. susan and I have been blacklisted for a while. I hope they let me back in.

I think after my 11 coments in a row to WillowTree - Typepad remembered my IP address and now won't let me back in.

Sniff sniff - well, at least I can comment here!!!

I too can't stand WV's. My option was to enable moderation instead. But even that can be a pain.

I do like the spam filter on my Wordpress setup.

Incidentally, I've got several friends having problems with beta. So much so, that I'm now working on their wordpress sites. Let me know if you ever get ready to make the move ;) I'm getting a good amount of practice converting blogger templates to WP ones.

Married to my college sweet-heart :)...three GREAT kids I'm not selling to the circus today...I LOVE to laugh (& smile often)...love to read & cook, hate to shop (unless the store is very small and doesn't leave me dazed and confused). I'm scared of flying so although I'd like to travel more, I don't.

I've been pleasantly surprised to find life in my 40s to be an amazing time of transformation & discovery--of self, others, creation and the Creator.

Here's a partial explanation for my Blog title. I think it'd be cool if they really existed.

A Pensieve is a stone basin.... [One] can extract his or her own memories and place them in the Pensieve, especially to relieve the mind when it becomes too flooded with information. Anyone can examine the memories in the Pensieve, which also allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the memories stored within...

A Pensieve first appears in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...
